Privacy and Policy
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions include:

Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

Payment Policies
Painting on a Pasture:
All registration fees are non-refundable. If reason for cancellation is due to inclement weather, registration fee may be applied to reschedule date.

Horse Gazing:
All fees are non-refundable but may be applied towards rescheduled date if staff is notified 24 hours in advanced.

Individual Counseling, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Group Counseling, and Life Coaching:
All professional mental health services must be paid fully prior to session. If you call 24 hours in advance you may have fees applied to rescheduled date.

Cancellation Policy:
All request for cancellations and rescheduling must be communicated within 24 hours of scheduled date. Client will have option to apply prepaid fees to rescheduled date. For professional mental health services, only three cancellations are allowed before client will go back onto waitlist.

Inclement Weather Policy :
Due many of our services and activities taking place in an outdoor environment, if appointment must be canceled due to inclement weather (heavy rain, thunderstorm, hail, snow) all prepaid fees can be applied to rescheduled date

All activities and services with Equine ( Equine-assisted psychotherapy, painting on a pasture)
All clients participating in equine mental health services or activities must sign Equine Liability Waiver.
